The USDA licenses several hundred "commercial puppy breeders" and dealers every year. These are
people
who are also more commonly termed as puppy mills by some people. The license truly means nothing,
it is just permission from the government to mass produce puppies to be sold
enmasse to pet stores. < ---read tax
dollar revenue for Uncle Sam
so that makes it ok
It has been brought to my attention that some of the people in this government provided list
need clarification here. We'll take hedgehogs for instance....if someone breeds hedghogs they
are included
in this list (licensed for exotics) BUT OBVIOUSLY NOT A PUPPY MILL,duh. Someone actually called
and complained because
they
are listed on this list but they do not breed puppies....well OBVIOUSLY, this does not apply to
them then does it? What part of The Voice for "D O G S" would make anyone think this site is
about anything other than dogs????? Uh, hello????
The ones listed are just the "commercial puppy breeders" that ARE licensed. There are hundreds out there who are not licensed
which makes one wonder why they do not apply for a license if they are legit and have nothing to hide.
