Note:  For some reason, USDA has stopped the ability to order inspection reports online.  It seems that they are determined to do anything they can to make viewing FOIA inspections as hard as possible.  In December of 1999, the ability to search for licensed dealers online was stopped, citing "Non Y2K compliant".  Now, 7 months later, this information is still not available.  

The Electronic Freedom of Information Act Amendments of 1996 became Public Law 104-231. P.L. 104-231 amends the Freedom of Information Act to provide for public access to information in an electronic format, and for other purposes.
